Prickly pear jam

Prickly pears proliferate all over the coast of Cap Corse, in the wild. These cacti produce a purple fruit studded with thorns, with juicy, sweet and tangy flesh. Prickly pear jam can be eaten on a pancake or in yogurt, or as a coulis on vanilla ice cream.
